About DJ Burns
DJ Burns was born at an early age... Get it, we're all born at an early age?! Ba dum cha!
DJ Burns was born, grew up, and still lives in Northern Virginia. She currently resides in Fairfax County with her two dogs, Oreo and Reese. She is 54 years young.
She is the youngest of five girls and was a tomboy during her childhood. She loved her family and playing sports above all things. After she graduated from high school, she spent several years in college but never completed her degree. Instead, she worked, married, had children (two awesome sons), divorced, and spent the next fifteen years as a single mother, raising her sons.
Since the age of thirteen, it has been her lifelong dream to write stories full-time. Once she became an empty nester, she wanted to go back to school to earn her degree in Creative Writing and English. In August 2025, she will check that item off her bucket list. YAY, DJ!
DJ Burns is also a Certified Consulting Hypnotist and Reiki Master.

DJ Burns has been interested in spirituality and the pursuit of truth for most of her life. She is also interested in metaphysics, philosophy, and the supernatural. She believes in asking questions, flipping the script on patriarchy, and ultimately finding an energetic balance between the masculine and feminine in this world. She also believes in being kind in everything she does. There is no reason to treat anyone with anything but kindness. We are all beautiful souls who choose to be here on planet Earth.
